Kids' book about a squirrel?

I was reminded today of a book I loved as a wee one, and I would love to buy a copy for my godchild. The problem is, I don't have a clue what its called, only that it was about a squirrel, and the squirrel was a separate piece that could be tucked into pockets in the book.
