who would win a fight between a squirrel and a magpie? the trees behind my house are home to both and they are always scrapping! i have to admit to helping the sqirrels sometimes. those maggies are just bullies!Squirrel Vs magpie?

a bigger squirrel would win.
I'm going to be different to everyone else and say the magpie. If a squirrel tried to bite a magpie, it would have a difficult time getting through the feathers. The magpie could get one strike into the squirrel's eye, and blind it or even kill it if it's lucky.


Magpies also work in groups to take things down, whereas squirrels don't.


I work with birds. I've seen magpies kill things bigger than squirrels. Believe me, the magpie would win.


And squirrels may look cute, but they're just rats with bushy tails.
Distract the magpies with shiny objects so that the squirrels can come up with a master plan to eradicate them!!

magpies are still a protected species here in the UK, grey squirrels are not.
