Do you have a pet squirrel? is so...?

what do i feed my little Rocky that i can get from petsmart, petco and or wal-mart? what treats, minerals, vitamins, chew sticks, toys, bedding and food. what do i need to look out for that will make him sick or kill him. you can email me at Ras_hell9_11@yahoo.comDo you have a pet squirrel? is so...?
1.) you can feed them the mouse/hamster food--that should work


OR


2.) you can give them birdseed--the squirrels in our backyard go crazy for that and it doesn't seem to hurt them





*the bigger the cage the better--they like space


*they like hammocks


*all squirrels should have a little nesting box filled with fleece or shredded newspaper (like through a shredding machine)


*some squirrels like running wheels


*give it flavored chewing wood (in the rabbit section)


*take him for walks! sounds crazy but you can actually buy collars and leashes for squirrelsDo you have a pet squirrel? is so...?
I fed my squirrel (KITTENS) milk. Unsalted nuts and the bag of dried fruit located in the produce section. Cows milk will KILL squirrels. A plastic cage or wired cage with wood chips as the flooring set by a window:)

I don't have a squirrel, but they are ADORABLE and I would love to have one as a pet!





I'd think you could feed them mouse/hamster food, it's got nuts and grains in it and whatever they don't like they'll just leave.
