Tanning squirrel hide?

Where can i buy alum in bulk? I need about 2 pounds of it. do you think that htis site has the right stuff? http://www.bindersart.com/store/product/鈥?/a> also, do you agree with this method of tanning http://www.ehow.com/how_4451234_tan-squi鈥?/a> thanksTanning squirrel hide?
That's the right stuff. I agree with the tanning method, but have never found need for (nor even heard of using) alum. Just salt will do. So will Borax. You can get it on the laundry detergent aisle in the grocery store. Brand name is 20 Mule Team Borax.Tanning squirrel hide?
i personally use a waterblaster for removing fat/ tissue and Leder tanning solution. it's blue, which kindof f*cks me off, but it makes soft greyblue leathers which is cool.
