I'm going to London on a day trip with one of my friends who loves squirrels. I've heard there is a park somewhere where you can feed them. Is it true %26amp; where is it?Are there squirrels in parks in London?
There's loads of them in most parks, but not so many in Hyde Park which is quite open without many trees. However, St.James Park and Regents Park have thousands of the things.
You really shouldnt feed them though...they are just rats with cute tails, and they have practically killed off the smaller red squirrel species completelyAre there squirrels in parks in London?
All the parks have them, but feed them from a distance, as they have very sharp teeth, and are very inquisitive about what things taste like. Especially fingers.
Go to St. James Park right in front of Buckingham Palace, there are a lot of squirrels and I have fed some myself:)))
I've seen them myself in Regent's Park, but all the parks should have them. The swans in Hyde Park are lovely. :)
They are definitely in Regent's Park----got to be plenty in Hyde Park, which is humongous.
Yep they are there and usually pigeons.
They are everywhere. The gamekeepers have to cull them periodically because they have the habit of digging up the flower beds.
If you want to feed them, do so outside the flower beds areas or you might get told off by the Parks people.
