Ground Squirrel care . .

Hi i am going to buy a ground squirrel. I want to know what to feed him and how to make him not to bite.

He will cost me 50 euro, is it ok ?Ground Squirrel care . .
Actually that seems cheap. They eat veggies, fruits, and if you can find a place that sells a variety of fresh mixed rabbit food with alfalfa and stuff like that in it. Be sure to get it stuff to chew on apple twigs are good you can get bundles of them on ebay for a good price. but do some research on what twigs are good be cause lots of them may be toxic and you don't want that. and they best way to have it not bite is to hold it as much as possible they are pretty friendly animals and they loved being pet ans itched. If it does bit just pull your finger away and push it on its nose( not to rough)to let it know you did not like that. part of the year it will be more friendly because they hibernate, so it will be a lot more docile in the winter. Also these animals sleep a lot, they are usually up about sunrise for a couple of hours. They take this time to very loudly redecorate there cage . So if you like to sleep in i suggest having it in another room. and a couple of hours at night, But they are very cool pets, they take well to people and love the attention(and make a really cool noise). Hope that helped.i found a couple sites with info for you , they are for a richardsons groud squirrle which is they most common for a pet but they are all simalr http://www.sandsexoticanimals.com/care/r鈥?/a> http://www.exoticnutrition.com/richardso鈥?/a> http://www.aqualandpetsplus.com/Animals,鈥?/a> these should get you on the right track!
