PLEASE take the squirrel to a wildlife rehabilitator immediatly. I know you have the squirrels best intrests at heart, but you must realize that it is incrediably hard to nurse a wild animal back to health without the proper training and experiance.

Also, you didn't mention how old the squirrel is. If it is a baby, you need to feed it puppy formula. If it is an adult, it probably needs fluids injected into it, which should only be done by a TRAINED vet tech or rehabilitator.

Be very careful as, though it is very uncommon, squirrels CAN have rabies.
What do squirrels eat?

Most squirrels eat nuts, seeds, grain, and fruit. By far their favorite food would be nuts, followed by sunflower seeds. Urban squirrel have adapted to eat just about anything, including pizza, luncheon meats and all forms of snack foods. Squirrels have been known to eat bird eggs, but this is a last resort. When natural food is scarce, they will eat anything they can find.
Puts some nuts in his mouth.
yes pincones and nuts and berries too poor squirrl good luck
If he is hurt, you would probably would want to stick to softer foods, such as raspberries. If you do not have anything like that, corn or bird seed will work, if he does not have an injury to his mouth. You should bring him to the vet's ASAP. It is crucial to his health, so he does not get infected or further injure himself. I hope this helped.
nuts, berries, mint leaves(depends what kind)...try going to pet store? books? vet? Internet research?
Wild life animals are so fragile and seldom survive in captivity. You really need to locate a wild life rehab center in your area. What you would need to feed and care for this squirrel would depend on how old it is.Peta has some info on this topic and can direct you on how to locate a wild life rehab in your area. Also I'll include another link. when you go there click on (need help).
ask a vet or look up on the internet.
